Rules
Fitting
1. Ships: All base Tech 1 frigates are allowed. No faction or Tech 2 hulls.
2. Mods: Any Meta 0-4 ship mods are allowed EXCEPT ancillary armor boosters, ancillary shield boosters, and cloaks. No faction or Tech 2 mods.
3. Rigs: All Tech 1 rigs are allowed.
4. Implants and boosters: All implants and boosters are allowed.
5. Ammunition: Any Tech 1 or faction ammunition, crystals, charges, and drones* are allowed.
6. AOE weapons: Smartbombs are allowed, but fitting and use is a de facto agreement by the capsuleer to operate both under tournament and CONCORD oversight. A ship loss due to an AOE effect which attracts CONCORD retaliation is also likely to result in a match loss as well.

Matches
7. Starting brackets will be posted on Thursday, 11 April.
8. Opponents will fleet with referee for target and scan before issuing duel challenge.
9. A Teamspeak server will be available during the event, and a Teamspeak client must be used by all participants.
10. Duel challenger will be listed in bracket announcement.
11. The match arena will be a 50km radius sphere around the announced rally point.
12. Matches to be fought until ship destruction, or duel timer expires.
13. Podding an opponent forfeits the match.
14. Intentional jettisoning of objects en masse ('chaffing') forfeits the match.
15. The referee will rule the winner in case of a tie, a time out, or opponent(s) leaving the arena.
16. The referee's ruling is final.

Refit/Repair
17. Ships may be repaired between matches.
18. Allowed mods may be swapped between matches.
19. Ships may be swapped with other allowed hulls between matches.

Murphy's Law
20. CONCORD: The tournament rules are designed to minimize CONCORD as a factor. In accordance with the AOE rule above, any participant who brings CONCORD wrath upon themselves is solely responsible for the outcome.
21. Disconnects: Participants with connection issues on the day of the event should notify an organizer or referee as soon as possible. The referee will rule on during match sudden disconnects.
22. Registrant cancellation: In case of last-minute participant drop-outs, a wait list of entrants will be kept to provide replacements. If no replacement is available for a first-round seed, a bye may be offered.
23. Event griefing: In case of unforeseen external forces which cause the event to be called after partial completion, the remainder of the event will be re-scheduled after FanFest.
24. Event cancellation: If the tournament does not reach 16 participants by the close of registration, the event will be cancelled, and each registered participant will be given 1 million isk. If circumstances require an event cancellation the day of the event prior to commencement, all registered participants in-system in Todaki will be given 5 million isk.
